RS&H Moves Up to No. 48 on ENR Top 500 Design Firms List

July 17, 2020

RSandH moves up to number 48 in Engineering News-Record's (ENR) Top 500 Design Firms.

RS&H has achieved its best-ever ranking on the Engineering News-Record’s (ENR’s) list of the Top 500 Design Firms in the U.S., moving into the top 50 for the first time. RS&H improved to No. 48 in 2020, up four spots from No. 52 in 2019.

ENR’s Top 500 Design Firms list, published annually in April, ranks the 500 largest U.S.-based designs firms, both publicly and privately held, based on design-specific revenue.

The move up to the No. 48 spot in 2020 is a major milestone for the architecture, engineering and consulting firm, as reaching the Top 50 on ENR’s list was a goal targeted to achieve by 2025.

“We believed that if we followed our vision and values, we could break into the top 50,” said RS&H CEO Dave Sweeney. “To arrive so early is a credit not just to our associates and the great work we’re doing, but all of our clients who have helped us reach this goal.”

Several initiatives have spurred RS&H’s growth, which have included additional services and service areas, expansion across Texas and the Mountain West, and dedication to continued excellence in client service.

“We’ve accomplished our growth strategy through targeted geographic expansion, selective acquisition, and the addition of talented associates,” Sweeney said. “These efforts have allowed us to further our market reach and diversity and grow our services to meet and anticipate client needs.

“We will reach the next level in our evolution by helping our clients achieve clarity and agility in a world of uncertainty, leveraging a deep understanding of their needs and potential to provide a vision for what’s next.”
