RS&H, one of the leading engineering, architecture and consulting firms in the country, has hired Michelle Martin, PE, to serve as its Northern Colorado Transportation Leader.
“I am looking forward to being part of an employee-owned company,” Martin said. “I’ve always been on the owner’s side of projects, and I am excited to be on the consulting side for the first time.”
Northern Colorado is home to Martin, whose family came to the area 20 years ago on a 6-month assignment and never left. After starting her career with the Washington State Department of Transportation, she served as a project engineer for the Colorado DOT for seven years. Most recently, Martin was the Director of Infrastructure for the Denver International Airport.
At the Denver airport and with CDOT, Martin worked on several projects with RS&H and TSH Engineering, which RS&H acquired in 2018.
“RS&H was the first place I looked – there are so many talented people and friends here,” Martin said. “It was really the perfect opportunity. I love living in northern Colorado, and I love contributing to our neighbors and neighborhoods.
“There has been huge growth around Northern Colorado, and we have an opportunity to grow our office as the area grows around us.”
“We are thrilled that Michelle has joined RS&H to lead Northern Colorado,” said George Tsiouvaras, RS&H’s West Region Vice President and Leader. “She brings tremendous leadership skills coupled with a gift for managing people and projects.”
